Provider, scope and agreement
These product-specific terms apply to the Android application NAM A2 Recorder, published by Maya Apps (Mustafa Samet Sığırcı – Software- und App-Entwicklung, Norderstedt, Germany). They supplement the purchase information and applicable conditions presented in Google Play. The separate Website Terms apply to visits to mayaapps.de, not to the app licence.
Use of the app is also subject to mandatory consumer-protection law. If these terms conflict with mandatory rights or with binding purchase terms, those requirements take precedence. Provider details can be found in our legal notice.
App functions and technical requirements
NAM A2 Recorder is a local-first audio processing and recording tool for compatible Android devices. It offers NAM model processing, cabinet impulse responses, effects, presets, scenes, MIDI control and local WAV recording according to the features available in the installed version and access tier.
Some workflows require a compatible USB audio interface, sufficient device performance and Android permissions. Supported inputs, outputs, latency and uninterrupted playback depend on hardware, Android and the selected processing chain. The Google Play listing and current in-app information describe the available functionality and requirements; compatibility with every device or third-party file is not promised.
Free features and the Full trial
The app includes features available without purchasing Full access. Optional Full features can be tried for a total of 60 minutes per pseudonymous Android device. This is cumulative active use, not 60 consecutive minutes: the counter advances while the app is in the foreground and its audio engine is running. Premium Hub's server-held counter is authoritative.
A network connection and successful device verification are required before a new installation can begin or resume Full trial access. Reinstalling the app is not intended to reset the trial; device identity changes may affect trial continuity. Trial availability does not create a right to repeat trials.
Full purchase and licence to use
Full unlock is an optional, one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase through Google Play. It is not a subscription. The actual price, taxes, available payment methods and purchase confirmation are displayed by Google Play before purchase. Full access is activated only after the Google Play purchase and entitlement are successfully verified.
The purchase grants a non-exclusive right to use the unlocked app functionality for personal or professional purposes, subject to these terms, the Google Play account and applicable law. It does not transfer ownership of the software or third-party content, and does not provide a licence to redistribute or sublicense the app beyond what applicable law permits. The one-time purchase does not promise perpetual platform availability or unlimited future features; mandatory legal rights remain in place.
Device activation, restoration and offline use
One verified Full purchase can be active on up to two Android devices at the same time. Device replacement and purchase restoration are supported through the app without a separate Maya Apps account, subject to purchase verification and security checks. Activation, device changes and restoration require an internet connection.
A signed, device-bound licence ticket can permit Full use offline for up to 30 days after successful verification. Continued Full access may require re-verification when the ticket expires or the device reconnects. Refunded, cancelled, revoked or otherwise invalid purchases do not retain a Full entitlement; an already issued offline ticket may remain usable until its expiry or reconnection.
Your recordings and third-party material
Your recordings, imported NAM profiles, cabinet impulse responses, presets, scenes and MIDI mappings stay under your control on the device or in a storage location you choose. Maya Apps does not obtain ownership of your creative output and does not upload these files to its licensing service. Please back up files you want to keep; clearing app data or uninstalling the app can remove app-private files.
Models, impulse responses, recordings, trademarks and other third-party material can be subject to independent copyright, licence and usage restrictions. You are responsible for securing the permissions necessary for the files you import, distribute or use commercially. The app licence does not include rights to third-party material.
Payments, refunds and withdrawal
Payments for Full are handled through Google Play. Purchase history, refund requests and the applicable Google Play refund procedures are available through Google Play; you can also contact support@mayaapps.de about an entitlement problem or a statutory claim.
Consumers have statutory rights, including a right of withdrawal where applicable. For digital content not supplied on a physical medium, that right may expire after performance begins only if all applicable statutory conditions are met, including the required express consent, acknowledgment and confirmation. Merely using the app or reading these terms does not itself waive a statutory withdrawal right. Any refund or withdrawal is handled in accordance with applicable law and the relevant Google Play process; these terms do not exclude claims for defective digital products.
Consumer rights, updates and changes
Mandatory statutory rights concerning the supply, conformity, remedies and required updates of digital products apply without restriction, including rights available under German consumer law and the law that protects you in your country of residence. No statement about compatibility or changing features removes these rights.
We may release fixes, security updates or functional changes. Required updates will be provided as prescribed by applicable law. Material changes to an existing purchased entitlement will be handled in accordance with applicable law. Revised terms will carry a new effective date and will not retroactively take away mandatory rights.
Responsible operation and liability
Protect your hearing and connected equipment: start with a low output level and increase it carefully. Use audio interfaces, headphones, cables and external equipment according to their manufacturers' instructions. Keep important sessions backed up and verify your hardware setup before performances.
Statutory liability rules apply. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion is prohibited, in particular for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, mandatory product liability, or consumer claims for defective digital products. Otherwise, liability is determined by applicable law.
Privacy, contact and applicable law
The NAM A2 Recorder Privacy Policy explains the local processing of audio and the limited licence data processed through Premium Hub and Google Play. Support is available via NAM A2 Recorder Support or support@mayaapps.de.
German law applies to the extent legally permissible. If you are a consumer, mandatory protections of your habitual country of residence remain unaffected. The German version of these terms is the reference text; this does not restrict mandatory consumer information or interpretation rights.
